Hello, we are Students For Students
Students For Students (SFS) is a volunteer based online tutoring program for elementary through middle school age Somali youth in the greater San Diego area. We hold a long term vision of a community in which all students have equitable access to educational resources so they may thrive in school. To work toward this vision, we provide free online tutoring to underserved students throughout the greater San Diego area. We are experienced and dynamic local high school tutors focused on reading proficiency, math and science skills for the younger generation.

Summer 2020 Reading Program
Students For Students completed a free
online Reading Comprehension course for Somali-American students ages 8 - 12.
The course met bi-weekly, in a live, online setting and featured the book Wonder,
by A.J. Palacio. Three groups of students learned new reading and vocabulary skills
from our team of experienced tutors.
